At River Valley Community Health, We Offer The Following COVID-19 Services

  • Onsite PCR that results in 30 minutes or less. Can test for SARSCOV2 alone, or Influenza A+B, Strep, or RSV, all together, or in any combination, simultaneously with just ONE SWAB.

    Why send out for PCR and wait 2+days for results?
    We can have a true PCR result in under 30 minutes.
  • Rapid 15-minute Molecular NAAT test
  • Rapid 15-minute Antigen test 
  • Rapid 15-minute IgG+IgM test (Blood)Antibody test to determine evidence of past COVID infection.
  • PCR active virus and Antibody send out tests also available, provided by LabCorp.

We do not bill insurance for COVID-19 testing (or any other service). You may be able to submit the bill to your insurance for full or partial reimbursement depending on your contract with them, but we do not guarantee that your insurance will in fact reimburse you for the fee paid at all. Everyone’s insurance is different.

All COVID related tests/visits are drive-through visits. All evaluation and testing will be done in your vehicle on our testing carport.

As we have done in the past, we partner with  Centralia Pharmacy for vaccinations, and together we will deliver vaccinations to our portion of the county as we are allowed to have them and according to state instructions on who can sign up at each stage.

Anyone with any symptom of COVID-19 will be tested (cough, shortness of breath, fever, chills/repeated shaking with chills, new muscle pain, headache, sore throat, nasal congestion, runny nose, new loss of taste or smell, nausea or vomiting, and diarrhea).

You will see a medical provider and be evaluated. The provider will then test you if deemed medically necessary. However, being a Direct Care Practice, we DO NOT BILL your insurance.

The prices are:
PCR testing is $150, NAAT Molecular $130, and Antigen testing $110 Molecular, is $100 for Antigen.

If you don’t have any symptoms of COVID-19, but you’ve either been exposed to someone with COVID-19 or had possible exposure (e.g., in a large crowd with little or no mask-wearing, less than 6 feet of physical distancing, no mask, exposure was more than 15 minutes), you will see a medical provider and then be decided if deemed medically necessary or not. However, being a Direct Care Practice, we DO NOT BILL your insurance.

Traveling and Returning to Work are not reasons deemed medically necessary and are NOT covered by insurance. However, being a Direct Care Practice, we do not need to get insurance approval. We DO NOT BILL your insurance.

Yes, we offer nasal swab testing for all ages, including babies 9 months and older, and young children. However, being a Direct Care Practice, we DO NOT BILL your insurance.

Please consult with your surgeon/provider about how to get a test. This is not covered by insurance. However, being a Direct Care Practice, we do not need to get insurance approval. We DO NOT BILL your insurance.

However, we advise you to check with your surgeon/provider who is requiring the test, normally they have free options available at their facility or with local partners.

Our PCR tests take 45 minutes and both Molecular NAAT, Antigen and Antibody take 15 minutes. However, being a Direct Care Practice, we DO NOT BILL your insurance.

In-person if doing rapid onsite testing will receive the test results page in 15 (45 if PCR) minutes.

COVID testing is NOT free. Being a Direct Care Practice, we DO NOT BILL your insurance.

Many communities offer FREE testing options. Please check with your county health department for a list.

You may see information on Google such as “anyone can be tested” and “free COVID testing.” This is not true, and we suggest you always verify COVID testing information and criteria with any doctor or organization before you go there to be tested.

We work closely with any local employer that contacts us, we have group testing options and will also have vaccination plans as vaccines become more available.
